        How to measure

Every bracelet is made to order. Getting the size right means it sits well, moves with you, and lasts. Measuring takes 30 seconds.

        1. 1. Wrap a soft tape measure around your wrist, just below the wrist bone, where you'd wear a bracelet.
        2. 2. No tape? Wrap a strip of paper around instead, mark where it meets, then measure it against a ruler.
        3. 3. Keep it snug but not tight. That's your wrist size.
        4. 4. Find it in the chart above.

        How to find your size

Necklace length determines where a piece sits and how it layers. Most men wear 46–50cm for a clean solo look. For layering, keep at least 4cm between lengths.

        Length Where it sits Note
/ 18" Collarbone Sits at the base of the neck
        / 19" Below collarbone —
/ 20" Upper chest Versatile for daily wear
        / 20.5" Mid-upper chest —
/ 21" Mid chest Strong layering length

        The Self-Assurance Intention

        Composure · Ground · Quiet

For the man who has stopped auditioning. What that composure gives him. Where he fills silence that did not need filling. The work of trusting his weight without rehearsing it.

        The Strength

        • A pause that brings the attention back to you
        • Calm assurance that does not require volume
        • Saying it once, without needing it to land
        • The kind of presence that other men trust without asking why

        The Challenge

        • Performing confidence instead of resting on it
        • Letting the loudest voice set the tempo
        • Filling silence that did not need filling
        • Pre-explaining yourself before anyone asked

        The Work

        • Hold the pause without needing to fill it
        • Let your work do the introductions you keep doing for it
        • Stop translating your size for people standing next to you
        • Trust your weight without rehearsing it

        The Ground

        Quiet is the proof.

Smoky Quartz is a translucent grey-brown quartz, coloured by the natural irradiation of aluminium impurities in its crystal lattice. The colour took millions of years of radiation to develop. Scotland's national gem, set into Highland brooches for centuries.

Self-Assurance is for the man who has decided to stop translating his size for the audience. It is the calm of a man who has nothing left to prove in real time. Nothing to prove. Nothing to rehearse.

        The Daily Practice

Take up your space. Skip the explanation.

In the next conversation that matters, say your piece once and stop. Let the pause sit. People hear more when you leave them space.

When you put this on each morning, ask yourself:

        • Where am I shrinking my answer to keep everyone comfortable?
        • What pause am I filling that would do more work if I left it alone?
        • Whose approval am I performing for that I do not actually need?
        • What would I say here if I didn't need it to land well?

You belong. Stop arguing the case.

        Sterling Silver

Sterling silver, all the way through.

The clasp and findings are sterling silver through and through, so there is no plating to wear away. Like all real silver it can darken with time; a soft polishing cloth brings it straight back. Made to be worn daily, for years.

        About Self-Assurance

What does the Self-Assurance bracelet represent?

Self-Assurance is for the man who is done auditioning for a place he already holds. It represents quiet confidence that does not need to argue.

If you're not sure which Intention fits you, take the 60-second Intention quiz.

What stones are in the Self-Assurance bracelet?

The Self-Assurance bracelet is made with Smoky Quartz, Lava Stone and Pyrite, set with sterling silver hardware and stainless steel wire.

Smoky Quartz is a translucent grey-brown variety of quartz coloured by natural irradiation of aluminium impurities in its crystal lattice. Scotland's national gem, set into Highland brooches for centuries. Associated with grounding and quiet confidence.

How do I know if Self-Assurance is the right Intention for me?

Choose Self-Assurance if you have been performing confidence instead of resting on it, if the loudest voice keeps setting the tempo, or if you have been pre-explaining yourself before anyone asked.

For a guided recommendation across all 24 Intentions, take the 60-second Intention quiz.

Can I wear the Self-Assurance bracelet and necklace together?

Yes, they're made to be worn together. One stone, worn at the wrist and at the chest, keeps your weight on the ground when everyone around you is leaning forward.

How is Self-Assurance different from Courage?

Self-Assurance is the calm of a man who already knows where he stands. Courage is the decision to step forward from that ground. Both sit within the courage and confidence theme of the Intentions collection.

        Ordering & care

        What sizes are available?

Intention bracelets come in seven sizes from 18 cm to 24 cm, fitting wrists 15.5 cm to 22.5 cm. The 21 cm size is the most common choice. Measure your wrist with the size guide and add 2 cm for a standard fit or 3 cm for a relaxed fit.

How does it fasten, and will it stretch?

It closes with a Sterling Silver clasp. The beads are strung on flexible stainless steel wire, so it moves with your wrist but does not stretch or sag over time.

        Are the stones natural?

Every stone in an Intention is genuine natural stone. Variation in colour and pattern is part of it: no two pieces are identical. See the stone library for the meaning and formation of each one.

What are the clasp and findings made of?

Sterling Silver, with no plating or coating, so there is no surface layer to wear through. Like all real silver it can darken with time; a soft polishing cloth brings it straight back.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Most of what touches your skin is natural stone. The wire is coated stainless steel and almost entirely covered by the beads, so the main metal contact is the clasp and findings, which are Sterling Silver. If you have a known metal allergy, check these materials against it before ordering, or contact us and we'll send the full component list.

How should I care for my bracelet?

Remove your bracelet before swimming, showering, or heavy exercise to protect the stones and the wire. Store it flat when you're not wearing it. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth.

See the care guide for stone-specific notes.

        How long does shipping take?

Each bracelet is made to order in Queensland, Australia. We aim to dispatch within 2 business days. Every piece is handmade after you order, so occasionally it can take a little longer.

During peak sale and holiday periods, allow up to 4 business days for your shipping confirmation. See the shipping policy for details.

Do you ship internationally? What does shipping cost?

Yes, we ship worldwide. In Australia, Standard shipping is free on orders over $119 (otherwise $10) and Express is free over $249 (otherwise $13). In the US, Standard shipping is free over US$99, with duties included. For every other country, shipping is calculated at checkout.

Can I return or exchange my bracelet?

You can return unworn bracelets in original condition within 30 days of delivery. You'll receive a credit note to use on another size or piece. We don't refund change of mind because each piece is made to order with natural stones, but we'll always work with you on sizing.

See the returns policy for full terms.

        What does it come with?

Every piece ships in a Mana for Men box with a card explaining its stones and the Intention behind them.

        Is it a good gift?

Yes. Every piece ships in a Mana for Men box with a card that explains its stones, so it arrives ready to give.

How do I wear it day to day?

Designed for daily wear. Wear it alone or layered with other pieces. Made for life, work, and the moments that call for focus.

Take it off before swimming, showering or heavy exercise.

        Is there a guarantee?

Yes. Every Intention is covered by our 12-month guarantee. If a piece fails under normal daily wear within 12 months, Mana for Men will repair or replace it.
